Laura Pérez Macho was born in Madrid but she emigrated to Ireland and later to Germany where she currently works and lives. She graduated in Geological Sciences at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM).
Before she started university, she had written her first novel “Donde mora la bestia” which combines historical fantasy, celtic mythology and vampires. It is set in Scotland during the 15th century. It was published in 2016 by Seleer publisher, in 2021 was republished by Caligrama which includes files and drawings of characters made by herself and she was awarded the Sello Talento.
In 2021, she also published a collection of poems: “Vivir, sentir, morir” in audiobook format which has the fantasy as a prevailing genre.
She attended several writing workshops, narrative and novel planning courses imparted by authors such as Arturo Perez-Reverte, Clara Peñalver and Rosa Montero, among others.
In 2022, she published her second novel “Saol Eile” a psychological horror thriller where the lives of several characters are getting interwoven and topics like reincarnation and past lives are addressed. Also, during this year she published her first book of short stories “Sueños del más allá”: stories based on dreams and experiences that belong to the horror, fantasy and science fiction genre.
She started to share her knowledge and experiences about writing on her YouTube channel “Mi biblioteca oscura”. Also, she created her first online course “Convierte tus ideas en tu novela terminada” to help others to write their own novels.
In November 2023, she published “Dante XXIII” a cyberpunk science fiction dystopia with Círculo Rojo.
All her books have been translated into English and they are available in Spanish and English on Amazon and other platforms.
Currently, she is immersed in several co-writing projects: “13 relatos inquietantes, misteriosos y sorprendentes” (Eride Publisher) and “Latidos y Latitudes, Diez historias de migración” (Popular Publisher) which have already been published in 2024. “Gondomar, El secreto de la taberna” (Eride Publisher) will be launched during 2024.
Finally, she is a member of the team “El Círculo de los 13”, she is collaborating in the creative part together with the director and producer Giuseppe Giacri, it is a project of 13 episodes of mystery, thriller and horror genre.
